Life at Peabody Place

Our Franklin, NH Community

Nestled in the heart of Central New Hampshire between two of the Winnepesauke Rivers, Peabody Place overlooks the glorious scenery of our Franklin NH community while remaining within a short drive of Franklin’s cultural center downtown. Franklin’s rich history is closely intertwined with the three rivers that flow through the city and literally create a flow of outdoor activities that attract people from afar. From enjoying these natural surroundings to relishing our opera house and restaurants, there’s always something to do here.

Urban neighborhood, local feel

Named after Ben Franklin, the City of Franklin, NH is building off the history of its mills and rivers to offer a vibrant downtown experience for dining, shopping and eco-tourism. Its three rivers that once powered many mill buildings are now the hub of burgeoning outdoor activities that attract many enthusiasts from across the region. Franklin has a small-town feel with big-city services that include a hospital and 24/7 ambulance care.

"Franklin is the smallest city in New Hampshire, but we have one of the biggest footprints in terms of interconnectedness and community spirit. You can walk along Central Street and be greeted with a warm 'hello' while at the same time our municipality offers many services one would expect of a much larger community. From social, to cultural and outdoor pursuits, to healthcare, hospitality and dining, please join us in the Three Rivers City!"

- Interim Mayor City of Franklin, Olivia Zink
